A little break in Scotland series! The reason: Rumi!
UNESCO designates 2007 "Year of Rumi" to mark the 800th birth of eminent philosopher and mystical poet Jalaladdin Rumi. Rumi is one of the greatest spiritual and literary figures of all times and known for his message and call for love, humanity and peace.
At Parkteatret in Oslo, Rumi Festival was arranged from the 17.th - 18.th of November with a seminar, storytelling performances and a concert with the famous Iranian musician Davod Azad and his band.
Iranian singer and multi-instrumentalist Davod Azad is one of the most acclaimed exponents and scholars of classical Persian music and Persian Sufi music.
